Interview with Bjorn Lomborg

Recently, Bjorn Lomborg, called by The Guardian (U.K.) “one of the 50 people who could save the planet,” spoke about climate change, and the best ways to approach it. He says we need to focus on making green energy cheap as opposed to making fossil fuels expensive, and that in general, we need to be smarter about how we approach the problem. The interview can be read here.

I find the Creation Care website resources to be very misleading. I guess that is the Christian way of saying ‘untruthful.’

Just consider what these scientists say:

“The cause of global warming is unknown. The proponents of manmade catastrophic global warming are being motivated by money.”—geophysicist Claude Allegre, France [a socialist] a member of both the French and American Academy of Sciences

Re: IPCC “These people are openly declaring that they are going to commit scientific misconduct that will be paid for by the United Nations. If they find an error in the summary, they won’t fix it. Instead, they will “adjust” the technical report so that it looks consistent,” –Harvard University Physicist Lubos Motl

“Many [scientists] are now searching for a way to back out quietly (from promoting warming fears), without having their professional careers ruined.” – Atmospheric physicist James A. Peden

[Is this the case with pastors, too? Being silent about the truth?]

“The quantity of CO2 we produce is insignificant in terms of the natural circulation between air, water and soil… I am doing a detailed assessment of the UN IPCC reports and the Summaries for Policy Makers, identifying the way in which the Summaries have distorted the science….I have found examples of a Summary saying precisely the opposite of what the scientists said” – South Afican Nuclear Physicist Dr. Philip Lloyd, a UN IPCC co-coordinating lead author

“The present alarm on climate change is an instrument of social control, a pretext for major

businesses and political battle. It became an ideology, which is concerning.” -

    Environmental Scientist Professor Delgado Domingos

Global warming, as a political vehicle, keeps
Europeans in the driver’s seat and developing nations walking barefoot.” – Dr. Takeda Kunihiko
